This is a now page. It is probably not what I would tell a friend if I hadn’t seen them in a year because my friends are ’normies’. I’ll tell you instead. Not that you can’t be my friend. Oh dear. I’ll stop now.

Work — back working for a tech vendor and loving it.

Building — most of my spare time is spent exploring what AI can do. I’m cataloging files, making old email PST files accessible but mostly building what some might call a lifeOS. I call mine Modul. Modul is a web app that displays personal sensor data, tasks and a journal. It is my daily coach and helps me make sense of my busy mind. I’ll write it up as a work-in-progress post soon — though it’ll probably always be one.

Understanding GIT on the Mac

Struggling with Git, I decided to return to first principles and do everything in the terminal. I had been using either a GUI or Visual Studio Code, but I didn’t really understand what was happening in the background. Here are my notes for future me—and for you, if you’ve stumbled upon this.

I’m a bit of a data junkie—I love seeing how different posts perform and what people find interesting. To satisfy my curiosity (and improve the website), I use Google Analytics to track website traffic and visitor interactions.

This data helps me understand what works, what doesn’t, and whether anyone actually reads my ramblings. The information may be sent to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
